This Service Agreement governs all bookings made by you (the ‘Client’) with St. Pete Vacation Cleaning. By scheduling a reservation on our website StPeteVacationCleaning.com or via our booking platform TaskBird.com, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. SCOPE OF SERVICE
1.1 Standard Turnover: Includes cleaning of all rooms, surfaces, floors, and basic staging based on host instructions.
1.2 Pricing: All pricing provided at the time of online booking is an estimate based on the property details (number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage) provided by the Client. Upon arrival, if the property size or condition significantly differs from the booking description, St. Pete Vacation Cleaning reserves the right to adjust the final price or reschedule the service. We will notify the Client immediately of any price discrepancies before starting the work.
1.3 Laundry: Laundry service is provided if a working washer and dryer is available on-site (in the property). Limited to washing and drying of one set of bed linens and two sets of towels. Additional laundry can be requested at the time of booking for a fee. We do not offer off-site laundry services.
1.4 Exclusions: We do not clean biohazards (mold, extreme bodily fluids), move heavy furniture, or perform outdoor landscaping unless specifically booked as an “Extra”.
2. ACCESS & UTILITIES
2.1 Entry: Host must provide a key, working digital code or lockbox location. If we are locked out upon arrival, a $50 Lockout Fee applies.
2.2 Climate: For the safety of our team, the property must have working electricity, water, and AC during the cleaning.
3. PAYMENT & CANCELLATIONS
3.1 Invoicing: Sent via Stripe upon completion. Payment is due upon receipt.
3.2 Cancellations: We require 24-hour notice for all cancellations. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled start time are subject to a $50 fee.
3.3 Late Checkout: If a guest is still in the unit when we arrive, a $25/half-hour waiting fee may apply.
4. QUALITY GUARANTEE
4.1 The 24-Hour Rule: If you are unsatisfied with a clean, please notify us with photos within 24 hours. We will return to correct the issue free of charge. No refunds will be issued after a guest has checked in.
5. LATE PAYMENT & COLLECTIONS
5.1 Payment Due Date: All invoices are sent via Stripe upon completion of service and are due upon receipt.
5.2 Late Fees: In accordance with Florida’s statutory limits for service invoices, a late fee of 5% of the past due amount will be applied to any invoice not paid within 15 days of the service date.
5.3 Administrative Fee: A one-time $40 Administrative Recovery Fee may be applied to any account that requires manual collection outreach (phone calls/letters) after 30 days of non-payment.
5.4 Suspension of Service: We reserve the right to pause all future scheduled turnovers for any account with an outstanding balance exceeding 7 days.
5.5 Collections & Legal Costs: In the event that an account is referred to small claims court or a third-party collection agency, the Client agrees to be responsible for all associated costs, including court filing fees, process server fees, and reasonable attorney fees as permitted by Florida law.
5.6 Notice of Non-Payment: We reserve the right to notify the booking platform (e.g., Airbnb, VRBO) regarding unpaid professional services, which may impact the host’s standing on the platform.
6. PERSONAL PROPERTY & LOST ITEMS
6.1 Host Property: St. Pete Vacation Cleaning LLC is not liable for the loss of any personal property, valuables, or cash left unsecured by the Host or the Host’s guests. We strongly recommend that Hosts use a locked “Owner’s Closet” for any high-value items or sensitive documents.
6.2 Guest “Lost & Found”: While we make every effort to report items left behind by guests, we are not responsible for items that are not found or that go missing before our arrival.
6.3 Handling Fee: If we are asked to ship a lost item back to a guest, a $25 Administrative Fee (plus shipping costs) will be invoiced to the Host.
6.4 Reported Damage: We will report any visible damage to the property or its contents immediately upon discovery. However, we are not liable for pre-existing damage or “mysterious disappearances” of items that were not specifically inventoried and verified with us prior to the service.
